In the portal, you can view your housing company’s information, report a fault, submit a renovation notification, reserve a parking space, order an extra key and check your payments and housing company loan details. You’ll also find your housing company’s documents, meeting minutes and latest notices.
How to get started with Kotikontu
Visit kotikontu.fi
To use the portal in English, change the language on the Kotikontu home page. Click the menu icon in the top right corner. In the menu that opens, click “Suomi” and change it to “English”.
- Create an account by clicking “Register here”.
- Fill in the required details and verify your identity using Finnish online banking credentials or a mobile certificate (mobiilivarmenne).
- Once registered, use your email address and password to log in.
In most cases, your account will be ready to use immediately. Sometimes, registration requires a manual check by our customer service team. You’ll be able to access Kotikontu once the check is complete.
Familiar services and a clearer view of your requests
At Kontu, we’ve offered an online customer portal for some time. The updated Kotikontu includes the services and information you’re already familiar with, along with useful new features that make managing housing-related matters even easier.
With Kotikontu, you can:
- Manage your housing company matters in one place. Access housing company documents, notices and meeting invitations, and send messages through the portal.
- Track the progress of your requests. Check the status of service requests, fault reports and apartment renovation notifications.
- Keep track of your housing company charges. View your payment details and see more easily whether your payments are up to date.
- Monitor your housing company’s finances as a board member. Access more comprehensive financial monitoring and reporting tools.
More features will become available over time
Kotikontu was launched for customers in October 2026. The features available to you depend on the practices and settings agreed with your housing company, as well as your role within it. We’ll also continue developing the service and adding housing company information during autumn 2026, so some features will become available in stages. Thank you for your patience.
